Sonnet 33

If only I could open up your eyes,
As waves and seas to see I am your man,
Your soul would flow with water of my cries,
Protecting me through storms as walls of damn.

I float to love like flowers float amidst,
Gardens of green on floors of summers earth.
I swim to you my love, as fishes kiss,
Through storm and rain, the womb of waters birth.

To let me drown would die my heart that beats,
A thousand sounds that sacrifice to swim,
My days would surface what hot deserts greets,
Dessert for death at dawn dried out and grim.

Oh what a pleasure love brings to the well,
Yet without water how love sings to hell.

You have an English sonnet going here but wow did I get confused..open her yes like a wave? this makes me think she may be dead? a soul flwoing with water? what is he water of a cry? You are doing so well with the meter! [I float to love..GREAT!] but [like flowers float amidst?] in mist? [amidst the garden of green?] next 2 lines very NICE! [To let me drown would die my heart that beats]?? not sure what this means? anyway you sure got the meter thing down! Light 7 Love

Sonnets are a bit tricky to write. You did well with this one. It all flows nicely. Jancarl
