About This Poem

Murray

Written May 18, 2009

There once was a fella named Murray
Who lived his life in a flurry.
When the grim reaper stopped by
Murry refused to die
Saying, "I have a
Meeting at 10:30."

Laughing out loud at this one. Busy Murray hasn't got time to die! Too wonderful!

The same way the late Tennessee Ernie Ford sang in his hit song "Sixteen Tons": "Saint Peter don't you call me 'cause I can't go. I owe my soul to the company store." Good entertaining reading here.
