Silent Joy

We two, strolling at night in the rain,
Pitter-patter of each heartbeat
Snuggled, with one umbrella.
Streetlights line the sidewalk.
Reds, yellows, and blues
Painting the road.
Reflecting.
Silent
Joy.

Beautiful! This is definitely poetic art. You have painted a picture. I feel like I'm on that street watching the couple under the umbrella. This reads like a first place poem for me. Blessings, Rhonda
