Rocking on the water's tide,
Midnight lazing lullibye ride.
Full moon on the rise,
In velvet chocolate smooth skies.
Jasmine fills the whispering breeze,
Lethargic rustles in the trees.
A wolf howls a lonely tune,
A serenade to the shining moon.
Crickets chirp a tempoed beat,
Tickling rapids trailing feet.
Sweet clover rests between lips,
Fishing pole loose in fingertips.
O I think I have a bite,
Just jump on board, too languid to fight.
low hung sneaky stars within a grip,
a wish made before they slip.
Like fireflies enlightening the bay,
Rocking me to the milkyway.
