MUSICAL CHAIRS

I live in a world of musical chairs,
Where I’m always the one left standing,
When the music stops,
And the confusion starts,
I’m the only one without a chair

I walk with a terminal illness,
This is, always being wrong,
When the truth comes out,
And the lies come in,
I’m the only one lying down.

I burn with an undying flame,
Wanting to be a great person in life,
When my mind says yes,
And my heart says no,
I’m the one left failing in life.
