Camping

Logs burn
and flames blaze,
licking at the wind,
spastic and crazed.

Sparks jump
and smoke trails,
clogging lungs
upon inhales.

Campers laugh
and begin to croak
some silly song
about the forest folk.

Trees sway
from roots to branches,
hovering quietly
as the fire dances.
