Branded

Your name and reputation are like a brand. You can change all you want as many times as you want, but the brand remains for everyone to see. Because of your brand, people judge you, condemn you, forsake you, and betray you. How can one ever be happy knowing he is branded. In life and death the brand defines you in the eyes of people. To be branded is to be made an outcast; exiled by everyone you once knew, and rejected by everyone you try to meet. You can not escape your brand, nothing you do can purge it from you. A life of agony and solitude await you much like the Mark of Cain in times of old. Sins of the father, sins of yourself, it does not matter to you when you are forsaken and alone.

Matt, when we are branded because of our past, we should examine where we went wrong, make amends and move on with our lives..no one should condemn you because NONE of us are exempt from making a mess of life at one time or another. Anyone who claims innocence in this case is not being honest. So never let what is said about you, or any circumstance that you find yourself in, define who you are. You are worth far more than brands, or wrongs. We pray to see the good in all! Love, Annalise

The best part about a brand? Proving it wrong. Proving all of the petty small minded people who gave u that brand wrong. Live up to who YOU want to be and not who you're expected to be. And remember, you are never truly alone
