Dripping in Cold Love

Like a snow fence waiting in a summer’s rain
I would long for the cold of your touch
A love swept up in its pain
After the thrill of its rush
Yet, it’s an empty wind thru our weathered picket’s steeped
That sounds the lonely cries for the cold, cold company of our winter’s keep
