DOWN A BEAUTIFUL LANEWAY

Just inside a door
That he will find peace there
Of this I am very sure
I know that when you think of him
You will see him with your mind
I know that there’ll be many things
Of him they will remind
I pray they’ll give you comfort
You’ll know he’s not gone far
Just down the beautiful laneway
And he’s left the door ajar
You can always touch him
With memories you know
Inside the door’s a mystery
It is one we will never know
Until our spirit leaves us
And back to God we go
