That heavy feeling

My;
the heavy feeling of
that screech !

And her slam ‘pon me,
collectively,
as in;
her best friend too,
came suddenly

Their press was
to say the least;
stirring,
as myself now
prone
will attest

The conductor of that train
disconcertingly
slammed on
those
brakes !

    I would say you were lucky to have such a press and they were happy to have such an amazing landing place! Sounds like fun James.

    Thanks for your comments, James. Now don't forget to send seafaress8 your home address. At the post office the other day there was a long line. A darling little boy named Noah and a man who looked like Santa kept everyone entertained. I thought of your Noah, of course, and what a joy it must be to spend the holidays with him. Love, Carolyn

    Very thought-provoking poem, James. Hearing disparaging words from a friend certainly can feel like a train wreck. I hope you'll email me your address so I can send you a Christmas card. Love you, Carolyn
