Naive gesture

Such an irresistible naïve gesture
from
those sparkling
bed-room eyes

Yes
slowly
with a softness,
which even at a distance
I could feel;
the silk slip to the cold wooden floor
fell

Out came the ink
and the slip,
and they too,
fell to,
the cold wooden floor

    It all happens with such a subtle softness to give the reader that languid feeling of patiently waiting for all to happen. Lovely James, it whispers!
