Turn Away
i want to turn away from the sight of my heart
such an investment from a limited source of emotions
torn down every few weeks it made me weak
loved eyes sear across the mind in flames
like the skipping of a meteor that touches the warmth of life
I feel thrown out into the cold spaces
looked upon afar with a wish and in wonder they cannot feel the burning
in the turning and tumbling there is no purpose to direction
there is only the path away...
