Upon a Mid Winters Night


 The woods echo with the stillness of a newly- fallen snow.

Moonlight beams glisten upon a frozen lake of deep sapphire hues.

Icicles adorned with a reflective mirrored glow.

Barren trees dressed in delicate icy lace, and feathery flakes of silvery blue, 

white iridescent silk gowns of powdery snow billow and flow,

amid crystal ice teardrops of branch chandeliers escorted on the arm

of the northern wind, dance a minuet to winter’s Hymn
