I call it red but you something else,
light purple to me but to you a pastel.
I call the colours, you call the shades,
to me a whole new language is being made.
I paint boldly but you lightly shade.
Your love etches ruby art within my heart,
tints evenings' trysts with an amethyst twist.
You harmonize the tones, I blend the shades,
trusting friendship's rainbow will never fade.
Together we paint life's colour cavalcade.
