About This Poem
Morning Sunrise
sunrise rushes eyes
taut from night of sleepy dreams….
clumsy fingers pry
hard floor limbers feet

old feet and knees start to ache….
tenacious treadmill
eyelids wide open
embracing daily house chores….
anticipating
