turned around, abused it
beating it down with a threshold
so blinded by the actions
I shouldn't of been so blind
your lies and games caught up

all I want is to forget you
and my heart returned
because all along you held the lighter
it was my pride that was burned
so do me one last favor,
and quit your empty apologies
you have what you wanted
