Birth

The cold digging in my grave
Your voice I hear in the mist
Carry me to your arms
Warm next to your bosom
Safe within thy womb
Until I'm not affraid

Conscious I'll be
When you set me free
Not for the world:
The crystal ship not sailing
The snow not falling
The color not seeing
The switchblade not felt yet

Will it come
Will I live it
It's not clear
But the time will come
The choice I'll have to make
Carry me in your arms
for a while longer
