My thoughts

Magnificent stone
Surrounds me in mystique here
I am overwhelmed

Water has spilled here
Lavishing the brilliant stone
Smiling as I watch

Contemplative soul
Filled with natures gifts to me
I will not grow old

Congratulations....I tried to think of something....but when I noticed Michael was not 103 years of age as I had him pictured...I said, "whoa"....let me dismiss myself...and it's a good thing...after reading your stunning poetry.....it's really great poetry..Thank you....

I really like the personal touch you gave to this one. I wish I had thought of such an approach. I have not been able to think of anything yet to do for that contest!

Well written. I am not a MASSIVE fan of Haiku (there are so many bad ones out there!), but you have worked the genre well here. I think they often work better when linked together, as you have done. You have made a few words go a long way! Well done! Regards, Robert. PS--Thanks for visiting and reading some of my work.
