The Lake House

The days dawn with the sound of water,
a whistling bird perched upon a tree,
wind chimes speak with voices of sugar,
sweet like the wind they speak for,
the air tastes like summer,
and the lake is cool with lingering spring

    what a refreshing piece of warm poetry coming from the heart. loved it.
