My Demise

And I want to hold, Lo and behold
All the memories scattered on the streets of us teens.
Am I stubborn or what? This makes life much clearer
And I still have room left for one last compromise

Here’s to my demise, I hope you say goodbye tonight
don’t suffocate yourself
I’m not one to lie, read between the lines, tonight
don’t slit my throat.

here we go, blind.
Hand and hand. you leave me
Some day you’ll come back
Its okay to make believe.
