Fleeting Memories

The dawn approaches
And the night dies
The sun is lit
To the innocent eyes

The business man works
Or does he work at all?
The world may seem so big
Because we see us as so small

One influences another
And the chain goes on
The darkness approaches
And nearer is the dawn

Disguise life as we know
And proceed as you shall
We go about our day
And we don't know how

In circles we go
Round and round
We observe the sights
And not the sound

For hidden behind one sense
Is but the secret of another
When we close out one
What can we discover?

Make the most of your day
Change your perception of sense
Because once you open yourself up
You become not so dense

The human brain is left null
About sixty percent is abused
What could we accomplish?
If all one-hundred percent is used

We are starting to slack
Amuster the air
For within our every day
Is something so fair

Knowledge is at our whim
We easily look it past
But maturity comes late
Does knowledge really last?
