LIsa. I almost didn't see the first line. It is separated from the rest of the poem. ANyway, this is really cute. It reminds me of how my cat jumps on me at 5 a.m because she is so fat and always hungry long before she should actually be fed in the mornings!!

Cute little poem. It is more of a senryu than a haiku. Nevertheless, I like this one.
