The Fire Hydrant

Ghetto dreams, ponder
Broke hydrant, cement
Only leaking tears

... and you definitely did "haiku YOUR way". I know this isn't really what haiku is supposed to be about... observation/objectiveness and what not. But I admire the creativity of it! How you referenced a suburbian's (is that a word?) dreams with the chaos of a leaky hydrant... it's pretty smart really!

For some reason this reminds me, being from New Orleans, that the tears flow throughout the city regardless of the area. Simply put, the Government chooses never to make "honest" repairs creating havoc amid the dreams of all people. Ponder is Useless. You are extremely talented.....
