Colorful Daughters

The explosion has left behind fragments of shapeless triangles
that have been marked with our fate.
I wish I didn’t have to show up today, because next to you
I feel like the invisible continent of Africa that no one
wants to rescue. Because they don’t try hard enough to deal
with the issues. After that explosion I saw fragments of
smoky glass and if you look real close it will determine your class.
So we have hidden ourselves behind crowded buildings, with
hopes of being enlarged. Like a barge that carries loads of
sympathy for the colorful daughters. Nothing is confidential, why
must everything be up for discussion. Colorful daughters
keep something to yourself, practice making motionless
sounds from your soul. Why don't you paint something
that no one will know. They say “We don’t know how to defend
ourselves against the evil earthquake". So I said pray, with the hope
that one day we will all be shielded by a protective bubble
umbrella.

Nice metaphor with good title and good personification. Marian
