I'm so sorry, Celene. The first time I read this, my eyes must have seen the word "begs' but my mind was reading it "bags" Power of mind over everything else. It is so strange how that works! NOW your senryu carries a very profound meaning to me. Glad you pointed it out for me. luv, Andrea

I really like this, Celene. On line three, did you mean "and" ? Because just that one little word can change the meaning for me. Good topic to choose too! Luv, Andrea

Hi Celene. How well you have portrayed the have and have not society. This should be read and digested by everyone who has lost the true spirit of Christmas and turned it into a commercial holiday. Thanking you for your kind comment. Eamon

This is a wonderful Senryu so relevant to our everyday lives but more so at this time ..read my "All She Will Be Needing" with a similar theme...inspired years ago while living and working in NYC. Her name was Helga and I'll never forget her...Thank you for the birthday wish, Celene. That was really sweet! Blessings always, Audrey
