She Hates

She Hates

Her eyes sink back into her head.
Her left eye crosses her right and the hate pierces like the sun’s rays on a hot summer day.

She calls herself a Christian because it makes her feel safe.

She believes that Church is a tangible thing of brick and mortar with a temple and a bell that
rings at noon every Sunday.

She believes the Anti-Christ is identifiable like another human being.

Sadly, like most that call themselves Christians, she is not safe.

OMG! WOW! It's such a sad irony isn't it? I know quite a few like this. Embracing a false sense of hope. Excellent & daring piece here.
