Keys to Bliss

Mind filled with dust
I could not see further
The sea breeze and the mist
Could charm me no more

My heart longs for my love
How could I hurt her?
Felt bitter, I lost hope
Will she leave me for ever?

Legs take me to the waves
I cannot believe my ears
I hear her voice, was so sweet
She was right back, so near

Tears filled our eyes
Wipe away the dust in my mind
Kiss her lips, tap her cheek
She hit me back, I do not mind

The door was locked
Seemed a while before
My keys to bliss back with me
I hold her in my arms forever.

I have never tried this form, Suresh. Very interesting and quite sentimental. I will have to investigate. Thank you for your comment. I appreciate it.

Very interesting though I am not sure I understood the slapping part. Is this a poem of someone going to die in the ocean? REminds me of the classic story, Wuthering Heights! LUv, Andrea

Interesting write..The slap her and she hit me..Not sure about that..If true that you loved and then were apart, may your love for each other grow.with gentleness and understanding..Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my work...Sara
