In perils of beauty

He walked, he danced
His shadow played the deck
She talked him to his wallet
And out of his pants

Like whiskey
Her lips, liquored up his thoughts
With a lisp
She whispered finally found

Portland had a mime
No one seemed to understand
Care to doubt or bother to mind
That Portland had a mime
Yes Portland had a mime

Her art was a distinguished lust
He was a character in this film of love
His mother taught and warned of such
His father smirked and enjoyed it much

Portland had a mime
No one seemed to understand
Care to doubt or bother to mind
That Portland had a mime
Yes Portland had a mime

Jessalyn
was Portland’s finest mime
She acted, frowned and smiled
Called it life once or twice

Charlie was a boy
young and full of awe
She kissed his hands
He dug his grave
Charlie died a man
