I'll have to put off writing my bio because there's something I'd like to ask of you soupers...:) You might have already seen the notice beneath a few of my recent poems, but I'll post the same content here: I'd really appreciate it if you could give me some really hard-core critical feedback on my writing. The people on this site are so nice and their comments always give me such encouragement, but I would love some critical comments as well. Hope this isn't me being too greedy ;) Will count on you all! -G

I completely understand if you want some feedback here in the general posting area, because the forums are 'dead' for days on end....I can see the dust and cobwebs in the hallways when I enter haha!~Chris

Aechtner Date: 10/26/2010 9:23:00 AM Grace, I tried the SAME thing you did here....I put up posts explaining how much I enjoy the positive comments, but if people wanted to critique my work, I would really, really be grateful. Of course, nothing happened. The few who did offer critiques many months later, didn't offer any tangible solutions, but simply went on confusing rants that in the end, was just a glorification of their already overblown egos.
Andrea Dietrich Date: 10/26/2010 7:17:00 AM I'll tell you why I don't do it here. The times I have done this kind of thing, the people got really hurt. Even though I tried to do it as nicely as possible. Even some poets who may ask for it, in the end, they feel disappointed when you point things out. That is why I think most people don't offer critiques. Did you know they have a forum here for you to go and be critiqued? Go check it out! I bet it would be perfect for you. In a rush, will try to read some poems of yours later. LUv, Andrea
