HALLOWEEN 'ELF'

HALLOWEEN 'ELF'

Always on October 31st!
Costume hunting makes me feel cursed.
   No costume fit my chest size.
   Still that night I won a prize.
HUM~ may be 'Elf' shirt was about to burst.

    Rereading this one because it is so cool. Gosh, how did I not catch your limerick rule?Maybe I was looking at all the other entries and saw others doing them in any style & just follwed the crowd! Unbelievable you got only a few of them as actual limericks. Next time do a blog to let us know how bad we are messing up. hahaha. Good grief! Sorry you didn't get many limericks. I am wanting "properly written haiku" for MY contest, and I am sure only half will end up being that way. LUv, Andrea

    Great, great and so funny, SKAT! Enjoyed the read this early afternoon. Thank you so much for yor always kind comments! I got a bit time now before my 10 guests will arrive. They had to drive about 560 kms and will stay at a nearby hotel until Sunday. I am expecting them now for coffe and cake (prepared a chocolate cake and a creamcheese tart with cranberries and a chocolate topping. Wish you a grat weekend1..Love, Gert

    Hi SKAT I like this.I can identify with it,not Halloween but generally, being top heavy, eg-a two-piece that fits at the top falls down from waist to my knees.Not so appealing because I'm a Grandmother- of nine! luv June
