INHERITANCE

INHERITANCE

Born poor
My inheritance was small
A mother’s gift:
No wealth of land,
No gold bought, no deeds,
No reliance on false profits
No
No compliance with false prophets
No cold thought, no greeds,
No stealth of hand:
A mother’s gift
My inheritance was all
Borne pure.
