A scorned woman

The abscessed wounds of
a betrayed heart fester
from desertion and deceit.
.
She takes solitude in shadows
gnawing herself red and raw,
rankling in private torment;
gnashing her teeth.

Until pain and grief turn noxious
with a fury justly sworn
to the retributory scourge
of a woman's woeful scorn.

    You are not lying!!!!!!! You women, although beautiful and loving, make for the worst enemies in the world. Hold grudges and understand the meaning of Payback lol...Great job in somehow making that sound like a thing of beauty! Love it!!!

    I've said "wow" before, but I really saying it now. WOW. You drown the reader in bitterness, injury, and disappointment. All for justifying "a woman's woeful scorn." Another fave for me.

    Aye! "Hell hath no fury as...." This poem is a counterpart to the poem that you have about a man "brewing" in his poisonous brew of jaded toxicity. A great, discriptive poem~Chris

    Only another woman can feel the pain that a woman scorned feels. One that don't wish on even my enemy....not a nice feeling. Very indepth writing...hits the nail right on the head. thanks for your comments. Joy (Jew pet name)
