The dots...

I use them all the time
But I don't really know.
What they say or convey
Mere thoughtlessness or more?

I've seen them being used,
Excessively at times.
Where words didn't make it
The dots would suffice.

I hate the impact they have
Leaving you yearning for more
Unnerving and confounding
Indefinite conclusions I loathe

The dots in the end
Of some words desolate
Abandoned by the creator
For the other to insinuate...

Very well said dots are all about us connecting what we can't see, or conecting what has been thought to us already. Loved your poem* ~Skat

I can so relate to this poem a lot! I use those 'dots' as ellipses in Haiku, Tanka and Senryu poetry. But when I use those dots in other forms, I can have the tendency to overuse them. I found your ending humble and humourous~Chris
