Slaving away all day, carrying dirt from here to there,
Creating large marvelous underground tunnels each ant doing his part without a care.
Miles and miles do these tunnels stretch and no one takes credit,
Not one of them doubts who should have it’s better because they share it.
Because there’s one little ant who’s seen it all.
He’s been to the place where the buildings all stand tall.
Each one belongs to a name and a face.
Each one created just to fill up a small space.
In gold letters inscribed is a name on the door
That simply states who this building is credited for, nothing more.
No credit is better if you do ask me
Just look through the eyes of an ant and tell me what you see.
