The Meadows

Walking into the meadow
flowers blooming everywhere
took me back to my childhood
I was walking through my
my grandmother’s flower garden
once again, the sweet smell
of roses and lilacs were in the air
I heard a voice in the distance
was it her, could it be
I must be dreaming, it must be
the scent of all the flowers
I kept walking and the
meadow disappeared
but the memory is
still within me
