Date: 6/2/2010 3:33:00 PM Good use of rhyme and imagery. Gives the reader something to ponder about. I agree with you about haiku. I've been studying the form for awhile and feel I'm barely beginning to understand it. The other things is that different people have different interpretations about what constitutes a haiku which adds another twist to trying to get a handle on the form.
