Did not take long, they came in a fancy ride
Two young punks, prison tattoos and did not say much
It was hot and I had to stay cool
"Chris, are these the gentlemen from the South side"
"Don't mind me boys, I use this old cane for a crutch"
Wanted to let them know, my Mama did not raised a fool
Like a drug scene out of a movie, I had to think fast
"Hey Old Dude, you want us to get it out"
"No Son, just leave it in the car"
Cold water running through my veins, like a gun fighter in yesterday's past
"Give me a minute, takes me awhile to move about
"Most have caught you a pretty penny for this car"
Both had their right hands at their waist, like ready to draw
The shotgun was in the back seat of the car
"Gentlemen, this a fine piece of artillery"
"But I need the cash and that is the final straw"
"Sorry boys, but that is all that I can do"
"This old hot Sun sure is misery"
I knew that it was stolen or maybe used in a crime
Eye balls don't leave finger prints, never touched it
Cause they were wanting this old white boy for their fall guy
"Sorry men, maybe some other time"
"Got to have some dollars to show a profit:
"So adios, how us old white folks say good bye"
