sImiles

Love lovely love;
Love it lovely, for

Love, as inscrutable as ever, sings
Lovely, as a child sings for ice cream.

Love seizes the world for a moment,
As I seize this sea of similes.

Like sudden involuntary smiles
I see I am within,
Like cherry loving lips locking
Tenderly,

We look deeply into each other’s eyes
Like dwellers to large diamonds,
And find ourselves smiling back.
