I whispered,"God I don't think you realize what exactly you've done,
you've let this angel slip through your fingers and away you let him run."
This angel so beautiful so kind stole something away, but left something unexpected behind.
I couldn't explain it if I tried, could this angel really be out of his mind?
God smiled down at me,"My dear, angel, don't worry yourself so.
If you wish to chase him, little angel, you too, will I let go."
I gazed into his eyes unsure of what I was suppose to do
and then I ran, past smiling angelic faces, through those gold gates, until he came into view.
I slowed trying to avoid the sun's glare in my eyes as I watched as he stepped off the cloud.
I hurried to the spot where he had disappeared and let the tears fall aloud.
He left. It was a hard concept for me to grasp, so I remained where I was and continued to
For a few months I sat alone, crying and waiting, waiting and crying, then I took the bait.
I plumetted down, falling wasn't really so bad, it was the landing that hurt.
I looked around hoping to see him waiting there for me, but all I found was dirt.
It took me quite sometime to find him, but eventually I did and it was worth what I went
Cause he asked me why I followed him here and I smiled,"I couldn't help it. I fell for you."
