Someone's Baby

You were someone’s baby once,
Yes, you were someone’s power;
You were someone’s shining light,
Her armor and her tower

You made her laugh, you made her smile
You gave her all your time;
You gave your lips for her to kiss,
Your shoulder when she cried

You said you loved her and you cared,
You said you’d never leave;
You were someone’s baby once,
But now you’ll never be.

    Sad but true, Nick. Nice rhyme and rhythm.
