Respecter

My warden is the one who lights the specters.

I apologize.

Quite the respecter of persons. He does it merely to emote.

Welcome.

Walk here along the palisade with me.

Yes it is your blood,

frothing with agitation on a beachhead.

You have waited long indeed - but not so long.

A held breath.

It churns, doesn't it?

The totality of it.

Give yourself time.

You know your oldest friend the siren.

Her imminence has ended.

And the new hunger you feel-

have your fill!

Well, your majesty.

I do believe we have arrived at our destination.

"Be,

and be ye no respecter" as we often say.

I assure you, the pleasure was all mine.
