Easter Bunny Brawl

Long soft white ears of velveteen,
Eyes like a blueberry jellybean,

Huge, but trim, he gallops and hops,
bounds across lawns and over roof-tops,

Till again, he hears the growling and drops,
And stares face to teeth at the glistening chops,

She snaps,
He jumps back,

let the battle commence!
She chases and corners him down at the fence,

Then, Bunny plants a great foot in her face,
But she lunges and sinks her teeth into its place,

He jumps on her mussel, ripping and tearing,
She yelps and fights back; claws and fangs baring,

As a last resort, that comes quite in handy,
Bunny throws out some chocolaty candy,

But although it's distracting, this poisonous treat,
The boxer would rather have fresh bunny meat,

So she finished him off,
And carried him sagging,
To show to her family, proud and tail wagging,

As other Easter bunnies exclaim at his dying,
Good thing we're so proficient at multiplying!
