I have 6 pairs that come to my back yard. They never cease to astound me. beautiful Haiku, Deb. Also I wish to thank you for honoring me with second place in your contest ' How do you do it'? I have been away for some time now. So go to be back. Love, Lainie

ok, instead of just painting two pictures for us to juxtapose, you tell us it's a "true morning" and also that the birds are "delighting" the day. Which sounds cool, but I believe it is not really the haiku way. Wish I could be more specific. It's just that I feel I got adept at noticing what Marie thinks haiku are by reading that magazine of hers all the time. About my footles, I think they have to be about spring, right? So I am not using the ones you saw, Deb. I have one spring one posted!

I dont' know how haiku this or not, but wow, it's very pretty and I love it! Hey, just wanted to tell you thanks so much for the win in your recent contest. I really liked how you judged it. There was just one I thought I would have put higher. It was a funny one someone wrote that made me laugh, about a farting baby. haha. WEll, I really have to get upstairs. GEEEz. Two hours here tonight. LUv, Andrea
