Artist Supreme

Creator of colors, creator of light,
You’ve given us both to shine day and night.

The variety of flowers, the species of fish
in all arrays of hues, what more can we wish?

From snowflakes, to volcanoes to insects, what’s more,
why the microscope reveals beautiful microbes galore.

Your artistry is prevalent in every single thing.
We thank you, Jehovah, to you praises we sing.

A lovely piece of nature pictured perfect for all the world to see - the whole concept of creation by one being supreme too powerful and awesome to contemlate ... Nicely rhyme scheme going in this couplet too, - well done! Kindest thoughts, Anna-Marie.

Hi Susan, Beautiful poem. Your images and rhymes so right on. It's refreshing to hear the words 'microscope' and 'microbes' in harmony with Jehovah. Personally I've wept with awe and wonder in most of the science classes I've taken. Science has been more influential in sending me out on a spiritual quest than Sunday school. Thank you for the encouraging comment on my poem. Peace--- Tamra
