Blue Rose

Smelling a Blue Rose
Reminiscent of Lenore
Owner of my Heart

Touching the Blue Rose
Remember Lenore's Softness
Velvety smooth skin

Seeing Blue Roses
Encircling my LOVE Lenore
My Heart leaps for joy

Hearing the Blue Rose
Whispering LOVE'S Melody
Erotic LOVE song

A Blue Rose's tear
Comes forth as the morning dew
Dries upon my cheek

To My Beloved -- L E N O R E

I'm glad you liked my Bingo poem. I've actually done quite well with it over the years, two big jackpots and a lot over $500, one for $6700 and one for $17,000. I hit $25 the other night and with that hit two 7 of 7 on penny keno for over $200! Guess I gamble for a living now that I'm retired. I make friends at two places we play too. It's fun. Ellen

I love this poem, roses - all colors, all flowers and plants and trees really, and your devotion to Lenore, it's very touching. I love my Larry as you love her, with my body and soul. And yes you may calll me Ellen. My mother is the only person who ever called me June Ellen. She was June. Started using my given name, it's actually one name, I'm Southern, English/Irish, a few years ago for poetry sites and legal things. My school records are under Ellen, go figure. Ellen

Lenore must've been a lucky being to be loved by you. Roses turn pink, red, yellow when it's raining...even in the desert...

HG my forever friend. Forever your love lives on for your Lenore. A love so rare almost never ever found. She had to have been an angel on earth . And now an angel in heaven your dear Lenore awaits for you. A magnificent piece you wrote here with your love overflowing from your heart. Love and blessings to you my forever friend, Carol

Your passion and longing matches Poe's for his lost Lenore, HG. This was a very touching memory for you to share with us. Enjoyed your haiku, my friend. Love, Carolyn
