Suburban Teen Whiny Woe

Somewhere something has my eyes
now everything is gray,hard,decayed
Those portraits of mystics and fantasy have been stabbed through and painted black

My sense of wonder...flaccid
My will....abused, embarrassed

Dark
Dank
Blank
Despair

A post 90s cliche

I could sleep a thousand sleeps and never wake to regret yesterday or tomorrow lost

I am the frost on your bleak winter window

cliche

blah

everybody has problems, just because mine may be a little harder to swallow than yours does not make you a cliche! when you feel that dark dank blank despair just realize that you are not feeling it for no reason it's because you are human and your suburban teen whiny woe's are no less important than my abused poor neglected hungry beaten woes! this was a great poem all the same and i enjoyed reading it. =)jo

Your vision will return to you, Kalonji. Life just runs in up-and-down cycles. Roll with the punches and soon there will be a colorful spring outside that window. (We have all felt this way from time to time. Stay strong, my friend.) Love, Carolyn
