untitiled

for years ive been running away
from this world
afraid to let them see my face
the shame, fear, love and hate
trying to avoid my fate
planning a great escape
i see no light at the end of my tunnel
theres no sign of day
it stays night for the sun
no longer shines my way
so now im lost in transition
from here not knowing where to go
the only thing i can see is this paper
so i decide to let my ink flow
unable to stop the rythm
i let myself groove to the beat
allowing my ink too bleed
has become oh so sweet
and now i got something for the world to see
how an pen and pad has changed me
and how my life now has an alternative end
to a life that i thought would never begin

Yes Monica, many of us feel this way. Time to let shame go it's own way. Write write write and that will help us heal. You are in my prayers. God bless you. -Robert
