Building Character

For porridge add blood, entrails, and stew
For you
By you

In us
Trust
tricky fellow
Love
a vagrant begging for veins

Blood stains
normal around here
Bodies
not so much

Familiar
places
Censored
faces

This town smells like ghosts

It boasts no-one
Nothing of use
Shells
Empty
Cracked
Laid back

Oh there’s the must
it must have been coughed up
by the dust
It must have

Peach stuff feels like leather
the good kind
wrinkled when wet

Disposed
Who knows
Why the ghosts
have set up shop here

Fear
a complex set of adjectives

Categorized in stages
My dome
is home
to a gene therapy experiment
gone horribly wrong

Strands
stand
Bald
is tall... er

I drill holes for the world to peak interest through
Don’t miss
bliss
It’s beautiful in here
somewhere
