Leather soles and a backlashed whip..
Momentum pulls pavement,
As cinders scurry the concrete..
Plumes of whistled welding, and the core's heat..
Walls cackle with thrown car horns and hard braking...
Oil pools with it's rainbow slick..
Gunshots and the fleeting feet quick..
Body slides and slumps, reaching for the light..
An old man climbs the dumpster..
Two dollars burn a hole..
Drafty measures, coupled with sharp remarks..
Bitten into bone..
Rolled one for four...
Split wood and bleeding brows....
Two dollars burn a hole.....................TAH
