Schoolyard (Part 1)
Sittin in this desk
Already done with my test
I didn't take it up front because I refuse to be teacher's pet
And yet
I keep glancing at the clock that says eleven-thirty
Man time is dirty
I really feel teachers don't teach
Like a preacher may preach
Or the way a lifeguard may patrol a beach
In class I feel smart but so distracted
You can compare my brain to Jimmy Neutron's
You can't contrast it
Can't showcase my intelligence
But I reflect on my negligence
I feel when I'm home
It brings chills to my collarbone
They say I'm the class clown
But inside I frown
How can I uplift my classmates
If I'm dragging myself down
I'm too notorius to be the popular boy
Too depressed to feel joy
Sad because I quit the track team due to responsibility intervention
I got a jump start on adulthood to my intuition
Life is one challenging game
And the earth is my competition
I've never been a wussy
But forever no respect for a bully
He comes by my seat in lunch
Jump up and choke him is what I hunch
Witnesses and bystanders
It's a bunch
He grabbed my shirt and said
"Give me your cheesecake"
I reply "Go Philly someone else's cheesesteak"
So he swung at me
I reacted happily
I stuck my fork in his eye
How dare I!
Moments passed
I lost my vision
Ten years later...
I'm an inmate in prison........
